The Best Gaming PC for Deathloop

Published: Last Updated on

Deathloop is one of the most popular game releases of the year, combining the stealthy, strategic gameplay of titles like Dishonoured, with the multiplayer invasion mechanics of the Souls series. It looks good too, but doesn’t place the greatest of demands on your PC. That means there are heaps of gaming PC configurations that can play Deathloop, and play it well.

Still, if you want the best gaming PC for Deathloop, you’ll want to focus on a few key specifications to make sure you’ll get the best experience possible. Here are some great options.

Deathloop System Requirements

Minimum

  • OS: 64 bit Windows 10 version 1909 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 @ 2.80GHz or AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  • Memory: 12 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

Recommended

  • OS: 64 bit Windows 10 version 1909 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-9700K @ 3.60GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia RTX 2060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5700 (8GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

Neither the minimum nor recommended specifications for Deathloop are particularly demanding, although you won’t get high frame rates at ultra settings unless you have some reasonable CPU and GPU power.

Any mid-tier gaming PC from the past three years will be able to play Deathloop, but to make the most of its stylized visuals and the high frame rates necessary for fluid gameplay, you’ll want something a little more capable.

Ultra 4K Specs

  • OS: 64 bit Windows 10 version 1909 or higher
  • Processor: Intel Core i9-10900K @ 3.70GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT
  • Memory: 16 GB system RAM
  • Graphics: Nvidia RTX 3080 (10GB) or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB)
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 30 GB available space (SSD)

The Ultra 4K specs are, unsurprisingly, a lot more demanding and show what a leap in demand that 4K resolution is. Not only does Deathloop at 4K with all settings maxed out demand a much more powerful graphics card, but it also needs a hefty CPU too.

Eight cores is the minimum here, as Deathloop is really core-hungry even at lower settings. While you might get away with a faster, lower-core-count CPU at more modest settings, for the ultimate Deathloop PC you need a high-end processor from one of the recent generations, alongside a cutting edge GPU.

A Great Option for 1080p Deathloop Gameplay

The Chillblast Fusion Sentinel is one of our best entry-level gaming PCs that is a perfect fit for those looking for an affordable gaming PC to play Deathloop on.

It easily outstrips the minimum system requirements for the game, but it does so at a good price. In fact, the Intel Core i5-10400F, with its six cores and 12 threads, has greater multi-threaded potential than the 9600K of the recommended specs, thanks to hyperthreading. Additionally, the Nvidia GTX 1660 Super is more than enough to play this game at Very High, or even Ultra settings, at 1080p, and still enjoy a consistent 50+ FPS throughout most of the game.

If you don’t mind sacrificing a few visual settings or settling for a frame rate closer to 30 FPS, then 1440p is even a possibility with this configuration.

On top of managing to deliver an excellent Deathloop gaming experience, the Chillblast Fusion Sentinel has plenty of SSD storage for Windows and a few games to load particularly quickly. Plus, it comes with 2TB of back-up hard drive space for more expansive game libraries and all of your personal data. The PC’s case is classy and understated, with plenty of front panel ports, and is fitted with a quiet and efficient power supply.

It’s a great all-around gaming system, and easily one of the best gaming PCs for Deathloop you can buy today.

The 1440p Machine

For the next level of Deathloop performance with guaranteed high frame rates at 1440p with everything turned up to ultra, you need something like the Chillblast Fusion Onyx Ryzen gaming PC. It enjoys a much stronger CPU and GPU, as well as more capable storage for an all-around more powerful Deathloop gaming PC.

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, 6 Cores / 12 Threads, 3.7 – 4.6GHz
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12GB Graphics Card
  • Memory: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory (2 x 8GB Sticks)
  • Motherboard: Gigabyte B550M DS3H Motherboard
  • Case: Corsair iCUE 465X RGB Case – Black
  • CPU Cooler: Chillblast Centurion aRGB Direct Contact CPU Cooler
  • OS Drive: 500GB Seagate Firecuda 510 M.2 PCIe Solid State Drive
  • Storage Drive: Seagate 2TB BarraCuda 7200RPM Hard Drive
  • Power Supply: Aerocool 80 PLUS 600W PSU

The AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is one of the best processors ever made, and a true standout in its generation. Its six cores and 12 threads all boost to high clocks, delivering some of the best single-threaded performance of its generation. It’s vastly more capable than both the recommended Intel Core i7-9700K, and the AMD Ryzen 7 2700X, and though it does feature fewer full-size cores than the recommended Ryzen processor, its faster cores easily make up that ground.

This configuration has all the processing power you need to support the GPU to play higher detail levels or handle the higher frame rates at lower settings for a more competitive gameplay experience.

On the GPU front, this configuration enjoys one of the best graphics cards of its generation, the Nvidia RTX 3060. As the most affordable of Nvidia’s current RTX 3000 lineup, it enjoys not only excellent performance that lightly exceeds that of the recommended RTX 2060 and RX 5700 XT graphics cards, but it also has support for the most recent Nvidia RTX features.

However, Deathloop’s ray tracing is pretty demanding and will put a real strain on the RTX 3060, so it may be best to leave it disabled at this level of hardware. But, this is still a great GPU for taking advantage of it as well as DLSS in other supporting games.

In Deathloop, it’s more than enough power to play games at 1440p with every visual setting enabled, at great frame rates.

You’ll also find this PC boots up and loads games exceedingly quickly, with a half-terabyte of space giving you plenty of room for a larger gaming library. The case looks great with the included RGB fans giving you plenty of customization options, and the cooling is upgraded beyond stock for a quieter gaming experience.

  • Storage Drive: 1TB Samsung 870 QVO Solid State Drive
  • Power Supply: Chillblast 700W 80+ PSU

Enjoy Deathloop in 4K

For a gaming PC that can play Deathloop at 4K, you need something much more powerful, and the Chillblast Next Day Strix RTX 3070 Ti system is an almost perfect system for the job.

It features an incredibly powerful Intel Core i7-11700K eight-core CPU, that can use its extreme 5GHz boost clock to handle all the necessary calculations of the game and help push frame rates higher in any game at lower resolutions, too.

If you want to go beyond that and push for a higher all-core frequency, these chips are a good candidate for overclocking too. If you’re interested in this system, make sure to ask your Chillblast sales representative about pushing it that bit further. Overclocking is a free service offered by Chillblast during the system build and it won’t invalidate your five-year warranty either.

Although the 11700K lacks the full 10 cores of the recommended 10900K, it has additional single-threaded power which makes them very comparable in all games – it’s also more than a match for the Ryzen 3800X, for which it can match core for core and thread to thread.

GPU Power

Joining that ultra-powerful CPU is the excellent Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti. It’s not quite an RTX 3080, but it’s not far off, easily outstripping the last-generation GPU king, the RTX 2080 Ti. It offers both fantastic rasterization performance for games like Deathloop and excellent support for ray tracing and DLSS, opening up highly performative new lighting effects and improved frames per second in supporting games.

The RTX 3070 Ti isn’t quite the RTX 3080 that Arkane and Bethesda recommend for 4K, 60 FPS in Deathloop with all details at ultra, and you’ll likely run into some situations where you’re closer to 30 FPS than 60 with this configuration. However, if you’re willing to lower a few of the settings, this Chillblast gaming PC is more than capable of playing Deathloop at 4K.

  • Processor: Intel Core i9-11900K CPU, 8 Cores / 16 Threads, 3.5 – 5.3GHz
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 TI 12GB GDDR6X Graphics Card
  • Memory: 32GB DDR4 2666MHz Memory (2 x 16GB Sticks)
  • Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z590-A GAMING WiFi Motherboard
  • Case: Fractal Design Define R6 Case – Black Tempered Glass
  • CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S CPU Cooler
  • OS Drive: 500GB Seagate Firecuda 520 M.2 PCIe Gen 4 Solid State Drive
  • Storage Drive: 2TB Samsung 870 QVO Solid State Drive
  • Power Supply: Corsair RM850 80 PLUS Gold 850W PSU

The Ultimate Deathloop Machine

For the ultimate Deathloop gaming experience, you need a PC that goes beyond what even Arkane suggests for a 4K experience.

This Chillblast Serenity Elite Gaming PC packs in some of the most powerful gaming components ever made, ensuring fantastic performance no matter what detail settings, or resolutions you set. However, it really shines at 4K, where you can even enable ray tracing and get good frame rates thanks to the supreme power of this machine.

The CPU is the keystone of this monster PC, offering eight cores and 16 threads with a ludicrous 5.3GHz boost clock; the 11900K is one of the most impressive gaming processors ever made and can only be matched by the very best AMD alternatives.

It’s joined by a massive 32GB of high-speed DDR4 memory, ensuring that even if Deathloop takes the full 16GB that the developers suggest it can, you’ll have plenty of RAM for background tasks – nothing will get in the way of your gaming experience.

Handling all those high-resolution frames is the Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti – a GPU that is only a couple of steps behind the vastly more expensive RTX 3090.

It offers a lot more memory than the RTX 3080 and 3070 Ti, and its big leap in core count gives it a sizeable rasterization advantage over them too. Its 80 RT cores are a notable leap over the RTX 3080’s 68, as well, giving it a much better shot of delivering consistent frame rates in Deathloop with ray tracing in play.

In Conclusion

Deathloop is not a super demanding game to run, but can look absolutely fantastic on high-end gaming PCs. Upgrading your existing gaming PC isn’t easy with the current GPU shortages, but if you want a gaming machine that can play Deathloop at high settings, Chillblast offers a number of capable options that are well priced.

If you find that none of them quite suit your needs, wants, or sense of style, then give Chillblast a ring and one of our expert system builders will help you configure a Deathloop gaming PC that is all you want and more.
