Our mission brief with the Fusion Thunderbolt 2 was to create the ultimate multi-screen flight simulation PC. Whereas competing machines use multiple video cards to accomplish this, or inelegant solutions such as a Matrox Triplehead, all of the leg work in this PC is performed by a single extremely powerful GPU - exactly the configuration flight simulators thrive on. Everything from the CPU and hard disks to the PSU and video card have been given special attention to give you the best possible flying experience, and we have selected some fabulous peripherals to go with the main system. As with the rest of our PCs, the Thunderbolt 2 excels for general use as well. From spread sheets and web browsing to pulling off that perfect landing into Courchevel airport, the Thunderbolt has the power to amaze and delight! The GTX 680 video card supports up to three screens in 3D mode plus one additional for instrumentation (Displayport monitor required). The storage system has been split between an SSD for Windows and a large hard disk for your flight simulation package, scenery and aircraft.
